The Intensive English Language Institute (IELI) has six levels from beginning to university proficiency. The IELI curriculum, or study plan, is well organized to help students improve their English step by step. The curriculum will help you use English more fluently, but we also focus on accuracy so that you will be able to use English well in many situations.
One unique feature of the IELI curriculum is our skills focus. When students study at IELI, they are placed in levels separately by skill area (reading, writing, speaking and listening). For example, if your listening is better than your reading, you will be placed in a higher level listening class and a lower level reading class.
